Biography
Raised in South London by a London-born mother and Antiguan father, Riley grew up with a deep connection to his heritage and a strong British influence. Music played a central role in his upbringing, with his brother’s eclectic hip-hop and rock collection, his mother’s love of soul, R&B, and electronic music, and his father’s reggae and jazz vinyl forming the foundation of his creative journey.
Born in the 80s and shaped by the golden era of the 90s, Riley was immersed in music and popular culture from an early age. MTV’s stylized music videos and the gritty production of hip-hop and rock heavily influenced his artistic direction.
Riley’s work explores nostalgic memories and their impact on the human condition, expressed through various mediums, including abstract art, sculpture using reclaimed materials, and repurposed progressive creations. His art has evolved to include film, delving into societal decisions and their consequences, further highlighting the complexities of the human experience.

We are not defined by our past, but our abilities to overcome and face our struggles".
